From an early age, I have been deeply committed to social justice and the well-being of others, a passion that guided me through two decades of teaching before I decided to pivot towards a new path as a marriage and family therapist. My decision to return to school was driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people's lives through therapy, an experience I have personally benefited from. Growing up as a military brat with my father in the Air Force, I spent my formative years in England and Germany which enriched my perspective of the world. As an Asian American and adoptive mother, I bring a diverse and nuanced understanding to my work. Outside of my professional life, I find joy in nature, artwork, reading, and travel, all of which continually inspire and enrich my approach to helping others.

Nice to Meet You!
