About me. My name is Angela, and I've always been drawn to the power of stories.

Growing up in a military family, I spent much of my childhood in England and Germany. As an Asian American, stories helped me stay rooted in my identity while also learning to deeply respect the people and cultures of the places we lived. Whether in the kitchen with family, on long walks, or during everyday conversations, stories became my way of understanding the world—and my place in it. Those experiences gave me a broader, more compassionate perspective on life and people.

I’ve always loved learning about others by listening to them share their lives—their struggles, values, and dreams. That deep respect for people and their stories shaped my years as a teacher and ultimately led me to become a marriage and family therapist and a professional counselor. I bring warmth, curiosity, and care to this work, supporting individuals, couples, and families in reconnecting with their own strength, truth, and voice.

As a biracial woman and adoptive mother, I’m guided by a strong commitment to equity, belonging, and healing. Outside of therapy, I enjoy nature, artwork, reading, traveling, cooking with loved ones, and creating space for connection and meaning in everyday life.
